Colombia tour 2009

Here are some picutres from our tour of Colombia at the beginning of September. The group featured Samantha Sidley on vocals, Garth Stevenson on bass, Alex Noice on guitar, and Brian McLaughlin on drums. We did a mix of my originals and some jazz-tinged singer-songwriter material that Samantha sang on.

Now that is how you load a bass! We put on three concerts as part of the Festival International de la Cultura, which is the largest music and culture festival in the country, with over 350 concerts. We were the only American group in the festival.

Inside the 400 year old church where we had the first concert.

Practicing at the hotel.

Alex Noice, at the altar of the guitar gods?

Group shot outside the second concert. We played in Tunja, Villa De Leyva, and Tiba Sosa.

Radio killed the video star...

I'm rich! I have 20 American dollars. Look out, P-Diddy.

We were interviewed on RCN, the government owned Colombian radio station in Bogota. Security at this place was like Fort Knox.

Venue for the last show.
