recording at Termite Studios

I had the pleasure of recording this weekend with drummer Nathan Hubbard; the band was Nazo Zakak on piano, Justin Grinnell on bass, and Lee Elderton on alto. The tracks were for some of Hubbard's various (and diverse) projects.

jazz/bluegrass/acoustic podcast

In case you hadn't noticed, the PalmKeys blog is not active right now!

Just dropping in to let everyone know about the new podcast:

I'm hosting a weekly show featuring live performances and interviews with local San Diego artists.  The vibe is acoustic and intimate - soloists, duos, and trios playing their original music. We're featuring mostly jazz, as well as singer-songwriters, bluegrass, acoustic, indie, and, well, 'other'...

Tune in every Thursday for new episodes!

In other news:
My quartet (feat Joshua White, Rob Thorsen, and Brian McLaughlin) is playing at "Jazz at the Merc" in Temecula on April 7th. Drop in and have a listen!
